A Party Game Built for People Who Like Arguing for Fun

Change My Mind: Chaos Unleashed is built around chaotic debate and ranking prompts, and the NSFW edition makes it pretty clear what kind of game night it is aiming for. The 17+ age label also saves anyone from accidentally bringing the wrong box to family game night with the grandparents.

The 3 to 5+ player range is a nice fit for a smaller group where everyone can actually get involved in the arguments instead of half the room waiting for a turn. Since this is a standalone game, there is no base set or expansion math to figure out before playing.

This seems best for a group that already enjoys ridiculous conversations and can handle adult humor without somebody becoming the unwilling HR representative. If your group likes quieter strategy games, this probably is not the box for that night. For debate heavy party groups though, the format is easy to understand and the theme knows exactly what it is.

Kinda fun

Not a bad game but honestly the "game" aspect isn't even worth using... This works much better as a conversation starter with your bros over some drinks. Some of the questions are really dumb but others are sure to raise some controversy or at least make you think twice.

At time of review it was $15 which isn't bad as a party game or gag gift. The cards are well made and the box is small so it's easy to wrap and pack. If you're looking for a game like cards against humans though, this isn't it.

Hilarious and Unpredictable Party Fun

Change My Mind: Chaos Unleashed: NSFW Edition is the perfect addition to any adult game night. It takes the concept of friendly debating and turns it into absolute chaos with its bold and edgy topics. If you have a group of friends who love to laugh and don't take themselves too seriously, this game is a must-have.

Why this game is a blast

Engaging Debate Mechanic The core of the game is about trying to rank and debate ridiculous and NSFW scenarios. It keeps everyone involved and leads to some of the funniest conversations you will ever have at a party.

Perfect for Large Groups While it plays well with a small group, it really shines with 3 to 5 or more players. It is an ideal icebreaker for college parties or weekend hangouts where you want to keep the energy high.

High Replay Value With a huge variety of cards, no two games feel the same. The "chaos" aspect ensures that the rankings are always shifting, which keeps the gameplay fresh and exciting every time you bring it to the table.

Adult-Oriented Humor This Ages 17+ edition is specifically designed for mature audiences. The prompts are daring and designed to push buttons in the best way possible, making it a great choice for those who enjoy games like Cards Against Humanity.

Loads of fun

My family and I found this Change My Mind game to be loads of fun! We played at a restaurant recently when we went to dinner. We were, as we often do, able to get the waitress to participate. She said she had so much fun and we were a great family to serve. We thanked her for her participation and tipped her well. It was a challenge getting her to change her mind about a few of the questions; we'd tell her to think about it while she served other customers. Then she'd come back with her decision(s). But for the family, it was easy to get us to change each other's minds, because we know each other. We know what to say to each other to get the challenge done. Some wild questions, but still loads of fun. All the best & God bless.

Require everyone be drunk before game begins

I gave this card game a try. Honestly it was exhausting. There are a lot of times where we need to stop to actually research the things we are trying to argue over because some of the players didn't have the knowledge to understand the challenge.

Another challenge we had was that there really is no skill set that makes you competitive. It really comes down to who gets tired fighting their argument first, you either have head strong players who could care less what you think and thus they stick to their guns on their choices or you have people who aren't even interested in playing any more because the other people kill the mood in their head strong ways.

The variety of cards at least did allow for some interesting moments. Unfortunately it was a roller coaster or fun and frustration. I think alcohol is mandatory for games like this because when you're in a heated argument over something as crazy as these cards portray, you sometimes lose sight that this was intended to be a game.

You'll need to establish rules and guidelines that encourage people to not lose sight of the fact that this is supposed to be a game before you even play it the first time because replayability diminishes since everyone's arguing the same topics.

Fun Game but can Get Repetitive Quick!

This Change My Mind game was pretty fun. We had four adults sitting around playing & it was great to hear others opinions on certain subject matters that you may not have necessarily known about them.

Cards store easily in the box it comes in.
Small, doesn't take up a lot of room.
Cards & Font text are easy to read.
Instructions are very simple to understand.

I think if you don't play this with a new group of people it will get repetitive rather quickly because there isn't that many cards to keep picking from. Would love to see some refill decks. Or decks of certain subject matters to be added for future purchases. Most people tend to get together with the same group of friends so that would be a way to continue to have fun with this game.

Great concept & idea. Questions are funny, some on the serious side. Very well rounded topics.

Fun, debatable, come prepared with a dirty mind for NSFW version

So, yes, the NSFW deck is really in the gutter! Honestly, I didn't know what the selections even meant and I am OVER 50! I felt so naive when we were playing as I was ranking my choices and had to ask my husband "what does XXXXXX even mean????" We had four players, all adults over 40 for the first game. We laughed a lot at not just our answer ranking, but just at the craziness of the answers! It was mostly fun but it did not go quickly. There was a lot of debate on some of the questions that made it run long. Cards are made like playing cards, the chips are just cardboard. It's pretty inexpensive and the best part is that its super portable so it will travel well (with the right company, no doubt!) Oh, and it does not come with the organza bag - I added that myself to keep the chips organized.

The Game That Turned My Living Room Into a Philosophical Thunderdome of Inappropriate Chaos

this game is like opening Pandora's box, except instead of releasing evil into the world, you're unleashing the absolute wildest debates you never knew your friends were capable of having! I brought this to what was supposed to be a "chill game night" and ended up with five adults screaming about whether it's worse to have permanently sticky hands or to be covered in baby oil by Diddy....

The NSFW edition lives up to its name - I'm talking questions so off-the-wall that my 50+ year-old self had to Google half the options while my friends cackled like hyenas. Fair warning: this game will teach you things about your closest friends that you absolutely cannot unlearn, and you'll spend 20 minutes arguing about rankings that make zero logical sense but somehow feel deeply important in the moment. The cards are decent quality (nothing fancy, but they'll survive multiple wine-spilled game nights), and the cardboard chips do their job even if they're not winning any design awards. Pro tip: clear your schedule because "quick game" does not exist in this universe - we started at 8 PM thinking we'd play for an hour and suddenly it was midnight and we were still passionately debating hypothetical scenarios involving rubber ducks as marital adds!!! You will enjoy but, you have been warned!

very fun to play
cheap enough to replace when the cards get wine soaked
great variety in cards and conversations

Surprising little conversation starter that depends on the people you play with

This $15 expansion works as a standalone game. The cards are smaller than expected (about 4" square) but easy to read. You get 42 NSFW-themed prompts plus tokens to "lock in" answers. Rules are simple, and it plays 3-5 people (more players = more fun).

Gameplay is straightforward: someone reads a controversial prompt, and others try to match their response. The fun depends more on who you play with than the content itself. You'll get through the deck in a few sittings, but different groups extend replay value.

Overall, light, easy to learn, and entertaining in the right setting, though not a game with endless variety.

Fun Game!

This game shocked us.

It's fun to play. We laughed, tensions got high on some cards, but arguing and laughing over the ridiculousness was the best part. The cards cover a lot of subjects like funny, weird, political, racial, and sexual.

Would be ok for kids? Sure, just be sure to remove the inappropriate cards beforehand, but it's good for most ages.

I did remove a star because the wording of the titles were kind of confusing.

Example Title: Best worst night club name

Seems easy, but we were ranging the options from best ideas to worst, so adding best worst just messed with our thinking process a bit.

This game is good with learning how people think, especially when they start explaining their thought process. The wildness of it all is hilarious. Some people were pretty basic and cutthroat, while others went around the whole world to end up at their answers.

I say it's worth a buy.

The con is- the titles are iffy on some, but you can always explain how you want the card to be rated and there aren't enough cards to have a more lengthy game, so it may get boring after playing this game a few times.

Not for Kids, Perfect for Adults

Played this with my adult kids and my boyfriend and we laughed so much. Some of the cards are definitely not for kids, so you can't be prudish if you're going to play. ?? It's perfect for an adults-only game night. Super easy to learn, and the rounds go quick so nobody gets bored waiting their turn. The box is compact and holds both the cards and tokens, so it's easy to store and bring along. A little chaos makes it even better!

I don't really like it, see if you can change my mind!

Hmm... They took the "adults only" NSFW rating to the extreme and made the topics sort of nasty and edgy. I'll play once or twice with my husband, but I don't see it getting added to my game night routine.

Everyone is supposed to rank your choices to outrageous topics and the designated "ranker" show the group, then they argue and try to change your mind. At the end of the round, if your ranking matches the "ranker" then you get points.

I showed my husband one card and he said "those all sound terrible" and had a hard time ranking them.

Very easy to learn and would make a good gift. It takes a certain kind of person who could appreciate it :)

Great fun - but be warned, it will get LOUD

Much easier to set up and explain than I expected. A person picks a card and they can decide why and how things will be ordered based on the prompt. Everyone decides their order then the picker shows their order and everyone tries to convince them why they should change to better match their selection. Highly entertaining - people will surprise you with who can get loud and competitive. Will get noisy. And you don't really need the buttons. Can be played by writing the order out if you want to play with more people. Love a game that can move as quick or slow as you choose - you can time the rounds or just let them go until everyone is wrestling on the floor over who is right. Great fun and easy to pack in your pocket. Well worth the price. The NSFW version can be rather NSFW, but there's a clean version for playing with other groups. I'm planning on picking it up.

I Played with the Wrong People

This game isn't for everyone. Some of the questions are fairly explicit. The concept of the game is explained in other reviews. I think you have to play with people who are passionate (or who have had a few drinks). You are supposed to "make your case" but no one cared enough about their answer to defend it. So the game kind of fizzled.
We just had the expansion pack, not the full game but that still works fine.
I can see where the game would be fun with the right mix of people.

Totally chaotic, oddly hilarious - and exactly what my friends needed

I picked up Change My Mind: Chaos Unleashed NSFW Edition for a girls night and, let me tell you, this game turned what could've been a chill evening into an absolute riot. The premise is super simple: no previous game or setup is required. You just dive straight into the over-the-top, NSFW fun.

Why this is my go-to for game nights:

Start-on-the-spot fun. No base game? No problem. All you need are the 42 brand-new, unapologetically chaotic cards. Perfect for when you want the party to start immediately.

Fast but flexible. Games can run anywhere from 30 to 90 minutes depending on how wild things get, or how long people can keep straight faces.

NSFW chaos guaranteed. The prompts are hilarious, slightly twisted, and definitely not safe for a sitcom audience. But that's exactly why it works. Boundaries become punchlines quickly here, in the best possible way.

Great for a crowd (or a small, brave group). Works well for big gatherings or tight-knit friend circles, just the right kind of edgy energy to break the ice.

Fun Game, Even With Just Two Players

This is a fun game and works even if you only have two people. We used it more as conversation starters when we didn't have enough players for the full game, and it still kept us entertained. Easy to learn, family friendly, and a good one to keep on hand for game nights.

A fun game to get that can get even the dullest of parties going

My family loves this game. We enjoy games that make you think, and this game definitely does that. At first, I wasn't sure how well this game would actually work but since the answers are all based on the players personal responses, no two play throughs are ever the same.
So, if you're looking for a fun game to add to you collection for adults to play once the kids are in bed than I would definitely recommend this.

Flexible and fun adult party game

This is a fun party game that works well on its own or as an expansion. You can play strictly by the rules, but its also easy to adapt into other versions, like guessing who ranked the items a certain way or using different scoring methods.

Highlights
Fun for parties and game nights
Can be played by the rules or adapted to other formats
Works as a standalone game or expansion

This is a versatile game that can be as structured or chaotic as your group wants it to be.

Unique game concept - just didn't quite meet my expectations

This game is designed for 3-5 players and follows a ranking and debate style setup. The concept sounded fun - however, once I looked through the cards, the prompts weren't quite what I expected.

The idea behind the game is unique and clever, but most of the card topics felt a little bit too silly, random, or out there for my taste. Some leaned heavily into bathroom humor or shock value, which didn't really land for me personally.

I also found the instructions a little unclear, which made getting started a bit confusing.

Overall, the game wasn't quite my style of humor, but I can see it working better for groups that enjoy edgier party games.

It's a fun thought provoking game that gets everyone talking

The premise of this game is very interesting. Every round a card is assigned to a person called the ranker. Everyone ranks the list using letter coins according to their opinion. Only the ranker reveals their coins. Then everyone tries to convince the ranker to change their ranking (no one else can). When the round is called, the person who's ranking is closet to the ranker wins the round and the card. What I like about this game is people's opinions are revealed in a strategic way. People can practice influencing. You can see who's minds are open and who's are not. The topics are raunchy which contributes to the chaos. I think there should be 2 sets of topics included, one that's PG and one mature. Other than that suggestion I'd love to see more games come out that encourage debate and critical thinking cause we need more of that these days.
